PASTA BERRUTO S.p.A. was born in December 2004 from the merger of two pasta factories ARRIGHI S.p.A. and ITALPASTA S.p.A., owned by the Berruto family.
The Berruto family praises an age-long experience and tradition in the cereals market and pasta-making industry. With this merger, the Berruto Family intended to build a company with suitable dimensions for the current market needs.
The company works with its brands and private labels mainly abroad (80% of its production) and it exports to more than 95 countries all over the world.
In the Italian market the company supplies the supermarket chains both with its brands and private labels, cooperating with the most important domestic supermarkets.
Pasta Berruto S.p.A. has had for many years a strategic commercial alliance in the African markets with the multinational Webcor Group (WWW.WEBCORGROUP.COM) which became a shareholder of the company in the year 2007. This partnership has increased the business opportunities both in the African and Middle Eastern markets.
The company occupies an area of 50.000 m2 (14.000 of which are part of the building) and has a production capacity of 50.000 tons/year.
The production department has 7 lines for the long, short and soup shapes, nests and special items. The packing department has been completely renovated with new generation machineries that successfully satisfy the new packaging requirements demanded by the market.
The plants for the raw material income and the silos allow the processing and the mixing of different types of semolina. This guarantees that the quality of our products is continuously monitored and constant in accordance with the company’s parameters.
